Adlerian Consulting’s founder, Keith Abbott, has several decades of experience in organisation design, human resource management, organisational change, and capability development. He has worked in multiple sectors across around the world including pharmaceutical, healthcare, aviation, construction, resources, and oil & gas, within such companies as Shell, Leighton & the Qantas Group.

His work is underpinned by experience gained from a career spanning Organisational Development, Management Consulting, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing and Project Management Offices. In addition to his consulting experience, Keith has held several senior HR executive roles in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial services business. Whilst in an executive HR role at CSL, Keith led the Organisational and HR M&A global integration of the Novartis influenza division’s staff into CSL’s Seqirus entity. He completed an Honours in Psychology at Monash University and a Masters in Organisational Psychology at University of Melbourne. 

Adlerian Consulting has worked with several large healthcare organisations including Healthscope, Healthe Care, CSL and the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre on a range of projects including organisational design and transformation, leadership development, capability development and People Strategy.

Colin Beames is a business focused organisational psychologist, author and thought leader in human capital and strategic workforce planning (SWP) with a deep and expansive knowledge of these subjects. He is the Managing Director of Advanced Workforce Strategies, a boutique firm that provides consultancy services in the areas of SWP, role analysis including critical role identification, workforce segmentation, measurement and reporting of human capital, and organisational/business improvement service reviews.

Colin has delivered SWP workshops internationally (UK, South Africa, New Zealand, India, Malaysia) and throughout Australia, and he has consulted to international clients (Thomson Reuters, Methanex, Telekom Malaysis, Celcom Malaysis), as well as to some significant Australian based client (IAG, Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, 13 Cabs).

His Aged Care experience includes development of a SWP for Cabrini Health Aged Care, and a very recent comprehensive review of Aged Care services for Moreland City Council. This included an assessment of the current organisational structure, operational functions, levels of staffing, data administration and workforce resourcing teams with the view towards re-aligning and re-focusing its operations with a goal to drive a more customer-led, integrated quality service experience to meet the needs and goals of its clients. Part of this review also included a detailed analysis of the impact of the recent Royal Commission findings into Aged Care, with respect to future service provision, structures and roles.

His other service and business improvement review experience includes a number of Local Government Agencies in metroploitan Melbourne including: Banyule, Cardinia, Maribyrnong, Moonee Valley, Moreland and Wyndham Councils. Other consulting engagements include clients such as BHP/Mitsubishi, Worely Parsons, Readymix, Roche Mining, PNG Banking Corproration.

Gavin has managed to combine an academic background with the practical application of psychology in business settings. He has created and managed five businesses in differing industries (training and development, digital printing, consulting, elite athlete development and publishing) and successfully sold three.

Gavin’s professional career commenced within the field of clinical psychology and moved into the organisational psychology sphere, where he assists Directors, Senior Executives and company owners with strategic HR issues. Such coaching and development work focuses on the alignment of management and staff development issues with core business objectives. Coaching and developing staff has been a core part of his professional and business life for 25 years. Gavin’s insights into organisation structures and the ‘intangibles’ of organisational knowledge, people assets, culture and motivation are backed by the very tangible commercial experience of providing such services globally to clients including Shell, Coca-Cola, Areva, SABIC, SADAF, Microsoft, Cadbury Schweppes, John Deere across Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia as well as Australia.

As the founder and principal consultant of Impactful Work, Gina is an experienced practitioner in the areas of Organisational Effectiveness, Change Management, Team Productivity, Learning and Leadership Development.

Her 25 years of experience span the areas of organisational development, HR/people strategy, leadership and competency frameworks, culture and values, learning and organisational development, change management, performance management, work design, reward, talent assessment, business performance modelling, productivity enhancement and project management. She’s spoken at conferences and seminars, run numerous training programs and coached individuals and teams in many of these areas.

Gina’s career has included internal roles in HR, Talent Management and Organisation Development (Unisys, ME Bank, and Integratedliving Australia) as well as a variety of consulting roles (FBG Group, AOP Consulting, Hay Group, BizEd Services and Mercer).

Her clients have included industries as diverse as Financial Services, Logistics, Resources, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Entertainment, Aged Care as well as all levels of Government and not-for-profit organisations. She works with leaders at all levels, with a particular focus on executives and their teams, supporting them to achieve their goals with greater impact and effectiveness.

As an Organisational Psychologist, Gina draws on both her knowledge of effective science-based approaches to people management and development as well as her years of business experience to provide leadership advisory support and deliver effective programs for clients. She enjoys working in close partnership with clients to build and implement strategic, systematic, and sustainable solutions to their people-related challenges.

Leanne Faraday-Brash FAPS FCOP is an organisational psychologist, professional speaker, executive coach and Principal of Brash Consulting founded in 1996. Leanne’s expertise is in workplace dynamics, leadership development, toxic cultures, EEO, high performance and the psychology of change. She is a coach, facilitator, mediator and investigator, specialising in organisational reviews.

Leanne holds an honours degree in psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in International Management. Leanne’s client list includes Nike, Amcor, Standard and Poors, Carlton Football Club, Holden, Victoria Police, HESTA, the Department of Education and Training and Ixom. With her engaging, humorous and provocative style, Leanne has presented on five continents and all over Australia.

Leanne is a 2020 Telstra Business Women’s Award nominee, a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) with Professional Speakers Australia and has been twice nominated for PSA’s Keynote of the Year and Educator of the Year. She coordinates the media panel for the College of Organisational Psychologists, is an Australian Financial Review contributor and has appeared regularly on radio, television and in broadsheet and digital news publications on corporate and sporting scandals, workplace bullying, #MeToo, “vulture cultures” and leader resilience.

Away from work, Leanne is on an advisory board to St Kilda Football Club, a Volunteer Field Psychologist with the Red Cross through the Australian Psychological Society Disaster Response Network and the State Integrity Officer for Maccabi Victoria.

Andrew Beveridge (Melbourne, Australia) is a Psychologist specialising in leadership development and employee engagement. Andrew hosts the Leadership Today podcast - bringing research to life in your leadership each week, all in under eight minutes.

With over 20 years of corporate and consulting experience, Andrew has held senior leadership roles with Hay Group and Aon Hewitt. This has included over five years as Leadership & Talent Business Unit Leader (Pacific) and member of the Senior Leadership Team (Pacific) with Hay Group. He has consulted to CEOs and senior executives with some of the region’s largest and most successful organisations across all major industries. Andrew combines real-life people management, business management and leadership experience, together with a broad human resources and psychological consulting background.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) and Master of Organisational Psychology. He is a registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Andrew designs and facilitates leadership programs as a Program Director and Associate of Melbourne Business School Executive Education.

Justin is Director and Founder of Pinnacle Group Australia. Prior to establishing Pinnacle Group Australia 15 years ago, Justin worked as a strategy and organisation/people consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Nous Group. Board experience includes working as a senior manager and executive board member with an Australian not-for-profit organisation (whilst on secondment from The Boston Consulting Group). More recently, Justin recently spent time as a Board Director of the Heide Museum of Modern Art.

As Director at Pinnacle Group Australia, Justin works with management teams and Boards to undertake major organisational reviews to unearth opportunities for improvement and innovation, set strategic direction and advise on growth strategies to diversify revenue streams. Justin also works with executives and their teams to design and implement organisational restructures, develop leadership capability, inculcate team cohesion and sharpen performance. Justin has been engaged by clients over the past 20 years to design and deliver organisational transformation, leadership development and team optimisation programs across Australia.

Justin’s clients range from publicly listed corporations, State and Federal government departments and authorities, as well as not-for-profit organisations. Dr Michelle Pizer has been helping ambitious people improve their careers, personal lives and workplaces for over 30 years, achieving outstanding results. Michelle worked her way up the corporate ladder in organisations such as Ernst & Young, Roy Morgan Research and Museum Victoria, before combining that experience successfully running departments and leading teams, to her work today.

Michelle is an executive coach, and senior, PhD level, organisational and counselling psychologist. Michelle has worked with people from well-known organisations such as Google, Stripe, Goldman Sachs, AllensLinklaters, KPMG and the ABC through to mid-sized firms and start-ups. Michelle is a published author, has presented at local and international conferences and won several awards for her work. Michelle has been featured in various media; including Business Insider, Channel 9, Radio National, the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
